Time Man Rec + Dad is Dead : 1h10
From 12 years old
"Man Rec" means "Only me" in Wolof, the most spoken language in Senegal, from which choreographer Amala Dianor comes from. With this solo, Amala expresses a unique blend of crossed cultures and body techniques, where hip-hop meets contemporary dance, including its African influences.
Amala's dance explores these multiple crossings that unfold step by step, in a fluidity and a communicative energy, as in his life.
"Amala Dianor is the most magnetic ambassador of her free dance, drawing from the Senegalese sabar flexibility, hiphop, dynamism and contemporary creativity." - Rosita Boisseau / Télérama.
